Nature

We are in week 7/8 (depending on when you start counting) of Covid-19 self isolating/Stay in Place/Quaratine orders.

Some days it feels like 7 years and some days it doesn’t. Every day we thank our lucky stars that we, our family and our friends are healthy. And we acknowledge all the people out there helping to take care of our world. We’ve quickly realized how interconnected we all are, give that a moment if you haven’t. The medical professionals of course and now think about the person working in the meat packing plant or on the farm and how our food is getting on the truck and the person driving that truck to the grocery store and who is unpacking the food and stocking the shelves and the propane company that keeps the heat on in our homes and the electrician working to fix that power surge because you’re on every electronic device you own. Clearly I could go on but you get the point I hope.

Yes, we are in the middle of a pandemic and because I’m a glass half full kind of person, I look for things around me that make me smile. Luckily I live in Provincetown and so that isn’t too hard! I have been noticing and appreciating that nature keeps happening: the beautiful sunrise and the clouds breaking up after a storm has passed, the spring flowers blooming. I hope you do too.

Finding the Right Broker

People ask me if it a buyer or a seller’s market. I think it is both. Our market is quite strong right now. Properties that are priced correctly and are in good/great condition sell quickly and within 5-10% of the asking price. I think the Buyers in our market are smart, educated consumers. They get alerts when something new comes on the market, they speak with their agent, they follow properties they like.

I found this great article awhile back about how to find the best real estate agent for you. I think this is a great time to share it. My advice to new clients, both Buyers and Sellers, is the same. Work with some one you like, trust and with whom you connect. Real estate is a big investment and it is intensely personal. Read this article and then call us. We are here to help.

Hi Friends,

If you are like us, you have a lot going on in your world. So in case you missed it, here is a very interesting article about national interest rates actually falling! We've been hearing a lot in the press about the Fed raising rates, well here's an indication of some good news. Lower rates may mean that you can afford to buy a new home, or that you can afford to spend more on the home you have already picked out.

Please contact us with your wish list and let us help you find the home of your dreams.

Here is the article from BankRate: https://www.bankrate.com/mortgages/analysis/?fbclid=IwAR2aORF1Bhw8WPB89aiZmwRAgAcoqPz8tQolN0UbyK6r2G6xhR6M0K56l0g
