We are in week 7/8 (depending on when you start counting) of Covid-19 self isolating/Stay in Place/Quaratine orders.
Some days it feels like 7 years and some days it doesn’t. Every day we thank our lucky stars that we, our family and our friends are healthy. And we acknowledge all the people out there helping to take care of our world. We’ve quickly realized how interconnected we all are, give that a moment if you haven’t. The medical professionals of course and now think about the person working in the meat packing plant or on the farm and how our food is getting on the truck and the person driving that truck to the grocery store and who is unpacking the food and stocking the shelves and the propane company that keeps the heat on in our homes and the electrician working to fix that power surge because you’re on every electronic device you own. Clearly I could go on but you get the point I hope.
Yes, we are in the middle of a pandemic and because I’m a glass half full kind of person, I look for things around me that make me smile. Luckily I live in Provincetown and so that isn’t too hard! I have been noticing and appreciating that nature keeps happening: the beautiful sunrise and the clouds breaking up after a storm has passed, the spring flowers blooming. I hope you do too.
